The Magical Krewe of EXOTIQUE was founded in 2019 by Taze-Ya Ballz, aka John Delgadillo who is the captain as well.
The krewe was formed as a way to create a fun and inclusive experience that eliminates the politics often seen in other LGBTQA+ krewes. EXOTIQUE’s big event of the year is the annual DISCO BALL which is at its 4th year and happens at the beginning of January.
Each year a new King and Queen are introduced. There is also a costume tableau along with disco music and dancing. The krewe will also be walking for the very first time in the Krewe Mosaique Mardi Gras parade and make history at the very first LGBTQA+ krewe to march in drag in a Mardi Gras parade.
